Our philosophy is simply to produce wines of world class quality from exceptional vineyards, with a focus on Sonoma County. We are fortunate to have Durell Vineyard and Gap's Crown Vineyard as our “home” vineyards. Durell has long produced 90+ point Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs, and Cabernets for more than 20 boutique wineries and Gap's is world-famous for its Pinot Noir. We farm in an earth friendly, sustainable manner with extremely low yields and terroir defined flavors. We strive to make wines that are very much of this special place through a “minimalist” winemaking approach which allows the complexity of the grapes to shine. We hope you like them as much as we do.
We believe in the sanctity of place and have taken this credo seriously from our vineyards, to our winery practices and now to the preservation and stewardship of our new home in Sonoma: The Vallejo-Castenada Adobe.
