The history of EQUIPO NAVAZOS goes hand in hand with the passion shared by a large group of great lovers and connoisseurs of the generous Andalusians. Aware of the treasures that lie hidden in the cellar centers of Jerez, Sanlúcar and El Puerto, and also of Montilla and its surroundings, we set out to recover some of those jewels. At the end of 2005, EQUIPO NAVAZOS began to select some of these wine casks in attention to their special complexity and finesse and to bottle them in very limited series, mostly for the enjoyment and satisfaction of themselves and our friends. At first, the distribution was almost private among a group of enthusiasts of these amazing wines from Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, mostly wine people: winemakers, writers, distributors, sommeliers and amateurs with deep knowledge.
