CHATEAU DE MILLET

Bordeaux, France

For five generations, the Chateau de Millet has been located in Eauze, in the Gers, in Gascony and in the heart of Armagnac.  Originally dedicated to the polyculture and production of Armagnac, the domaine now reserves 80 hectares of vines for the production of Cotes de Gascogne wine "Domaine de Millet".

The vineyard is located on the verdant hills northwest of Eauze, where alternate sandy-clay soils and "sands fauves". This specific terroir is 100% Bas-Armagnac and is renowned for its delicate and fruity eaux-de-vie.

Francis and Lydie Deche, owners, continue the work of five generations by engaging in a policy of quality: traditional vineyard cultivation, reasoned vineyard cultivation and constant evolution in methods and means of winemaking. With their daughter, Laurence, who joined them in 1999, they market a range that is tasty and varied.
