Lou Dumont Company was created in 2000 in the heart of Burgundy, in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Behind its setting up, some friends who were passionate about wine inclined to create a cultural link between France and Asia through the wine. The company is managed by Koji Nakada, a former Japanese sommelier, and his wife Jae Hwa Park, cofounder of the company. Open to the world, particularly to Asia, Lou Dumont Company gathers wine professionals from around the world with different cultures. This provides a real richness and cultural diversity.
In 2003, the company settled in Gevrey-Chambertin on the Cote de Nuits, where the wines are vinified and matured in the cellars. Since its setting up, the Company has been expanding a great growth. Year after year it stays in line with the international dynamics keeping its relationship values.
